India got independence in 1947 and Indian National Congress emerged as the single Largest Party which dominated the Political Landscape till 2014.Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) remained as the second largest party in the opposition who tried to cross check very good or bad moves taken by the ruling party till 2014.
The Indian National Congress had Charismatic Leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Manmohan Singh, PV Narsimha Rao who shaped the future of Indian Landscape during their respective tenures. Jawahar Lal Nehru started Indian Institute of Technology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences , Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited , Oil And Natural Gas Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation.
These Organizations not only shaped the bright minds of India but they also nurtured the great Indian dream of making India Great and keeping India visible on the global landscape. JawaharLal Nehru also nurtured scientist like Homi Jehangir Bhabaha and Vikram Sarabhai , the founders of Indian Nuclear Program and Indian Space Program.
India suffered heavy causalities in First Kashmir War of 1947 but recaptured all Kashmir except POK which is still under Pakistan Control. India lost War With China in 1962, which was a very big Foreign Policy Failure from Jawaharlal Nehru. Jawahar Lal Nehru Died , Indira Gandhi became Prime Minister who let India win war of Pakistan in 1971 and liberated Bangladesh with the help of Mukti Wahini.
India also witnessed Emergency in 1975 followed by resentment shown by opposition and movement led Jaiprakash Narayan (JP Movement).JP Movement helped in overthrowing Congress and Janta Party came to Power led by PM Morarji Desai. However,the, government fell after 4 Years.
However in Tragic Turn of events , After Operation Blue Star to eliminate Jarnail Singh Bhindrwale , India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi Got assassinated. Rajiv Gandhi , Narsimha Rao, Manmohan Singh shaped the future political landscape of India.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the PM from BJP and Ruled the country for 5 Years 1999-2004.However , after than Congress again came back to Power and Manmohan Singh remained PM of India for 10 Years.
The ERA of NARENDRA MODI- India got MODIFIED after Narendra Modi the Chief Minister of Gujarat came to Power and till BJP remains in Power and Narendra Modi remains the PM. He has taken good steps like Unified Payment Interface (UPI) for cashless payment, GST Implementation .In 2024 he is again expected to come back to Power with Full Majority .BJP future looks bright and they will remain in Power for another 10 Years minimum till the Peoples Mandate and Mood changes.
